Brand new villa made of wood and stone, giving a feeling of authentic Cretan residence while providing comfort and luxury for the guests! It has a private peaceful and countrified setting on the outskirts of the tiny hamlet Of Maza .It offers views over the surrounding countryside and valleys of pine forest and olive groves unfolding towards the White Mountains offering peace and relaxation, as it combines mountain and sea!
The villa is a single storey stone built villa , with private pool and garden. It can accommodate up to 7 people . It has a spacious living room , a fully equipped kitchen and dining area. It has 3 Bedrooms , 2 with double beds and one with 2 single beds , all with high quality mattresses and 2 bathrooms . Outside you ll find a Bbq area a dining table and of course a nice pool surrounded with sunbeds.
The access of the site will be given according to the number of the guests, meaning as many bedrooms needed and an open access for dinning and sitting areas, swimming pool, and garden. There is full privacy to all areas indoor and outdoor.
Please note that the swimming pool would not be in use for the winter season (1/11 -31/3), however we would be happy to answer any queries on that issue.
The villa is built on a 500 sq.m field, part of a 5500 sq.m private property. In this property there is also a fenced area where a stable, a kraal and a hennery are found. After consultation with the owner you can ride the horses for an excursion at the surrounding area. The garden of the villa is covered with grass and around the private pool there are sunbeds for your sunbath.
Six kilometres south of the sandy beaches of Georgioupolis and three kilometres away from the pretty village of Vrisses, Maza has a few traditional stone houses and a sleepy square with a small chapel and two tavernas – just a five minute walk from the villa. You will find the city of Rethymno in 35 Km and the Kournas lake in about 10 Km.
The access to Maza village is very easy and could be done by many means.Guests could rent a car for more convenience and come straight away to Maza village.There is a private parking right in your villa. You could also travel to Rethymno city by bus public transportation, every one hour, or by taxi.
A car is highly recommended . There is a private parking space in the villa for you.
