Marilena Natural Stone House is a quaint accommodation choice when looking for traditional house in Rethymno. It is situated in Pigi, a beautiful village closed to Rethymno. This cosy house has a special character and it is tastefully decorated.
This lovely old stone house can accommodate up to 5 guests. On the ground floor there is a fully equipment kitchen where you can prepare all your meals and one bedroom with a double bed, next to there is one more bathroom.The indoors dining table will comfortably seat 5 guests and there is a sofa for relaxing.On the upper floor there is a bedroom with double bed with one ensuite bathroom. There is a lovely balcony adjacent to the bedroom, ideal for reading a book and enjoying the summer sunset and the overall ambience of the house’s location. This balcony is ideal to have your meals and drink a glass of wine.
You have access to whole house. There is full privacy to all areas indoor and outdoor.
Natural Stone House is the alteration to a single storey vernacular house in the rural landscape setting of Rethymno. The original house was built with local materials and craftsmanship. Over the years various additions were made to the house exhibiting the different layers in its occupation.
Quiet as the area is you will be able to notice all the subtle sounds of the surrounding nature, offering an authentic stay experience in one of the most charming traditional house in Rethymno.
Also, there are tavernas, cafe, pharmacy and S/M in 200 meters from the house, so closed to everything!
A car is highly recommended in order to be able to visit as many places as possible while your stay . If not, there is a frequent bus connection.
